The head coach will make all decisions on practices. How many, what location, what time, what day of the week and what kind of drills. Typically, prior to the start of the games being played, coaches practice twice a week, and go to once a week after the season starts. However, this is not a rule of the Association. The most popular practice locations are the Primary School complex, and the CB Intermediate School areas. Other locations can be used due to over crowded fields. From experience there is enough green areas to practice the teams on. The weather in the Spring usually dictates the practice schedule.

8. Will special Requests be filled?

NO!!!!!!
Commissioners for the youngest age groups (A/D) will usually attempt to create teams based on zip codes/neighborhoods. The older age group commissioners must have the ability to team rosters as equal as possible to create competitive games. If you think your child should be on a hand-picked team, please sign the child up for a travel team or have the patience to wait until your child is old enough for the travel program.

9. Who officiates the games? CVSA youth referees officiate all the games. The youth referees are between the ages of 13 and 17. Please remember that this too is a learning experience for our youth. Applications for youth referees are available here today.

10. Are there any differences between the Fall and Spring playing season?

The U.S. Soccer Federation has dictated rules to reduce the number of players in a game at the younger age groups. Therefore the roster size will be reduced, as will the number of players on the field. The registration will dictate roster size. Changes in number of players will be implemented this season. Filed dimensions may also be adjusted.
